Drainage TANK WITH BLABO® SYSTEM
The technology used makes it possible to limit the use of operators to the inert removal phase only, to minimize the environmental impact, due to the transfer of residues to the landfill, and to obtain maximum recovery of the oily part.
Our innovative mechanical tank remediation method is based precisely on the use of biodegradable surfactants with low environmental impact and offers the following advantages:
BLABO SYSTEM®
Blabo ® is an innovative fully automatic system of the mobile type and transferable where necessary, it consists of 4 modules installed in containers, integrated with each other, for the dissolution of sludge, oil recovery, able to achieve complete cleaning of the tanks from the presence found me, delivering them to the refinery operation in Gas-free conditions. The Blabo ® system complies with international directives and safety standards including Atex in Europe and UL in the USA. The system does not require human entry into the tank (non man entry), this excludes any contact with sludge and other hazardous substances contained in the tank and also eliminates all risks deriving from human error. The process is to be considered as a closed-circuit mechanical activity, in which the petroleum product contained in the sludge or sludge, through contact with a fluidifying liquid and the addition of heat, is recovered up to 98%. All this takes place in a safe condition in the presence of inert gas such as nitrogen. Essential when working in a highly explosive environment.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS AND THE OPERATING PHASES
A
quantity of petroleum product of the same nature contained in the sludge, is heated, pressurized by a centrifugal pump and injected from the top of the tank roof, by means of injectors (called SNS) permanently fixed. These SNS are part of a system in number from 8 to 16 according to the diameter of the tank, which controlled by PC, are directed with the jet of liquid inside the tank, and combining both the rotation and the angle of oscillation, they act for the dissolution of the sludge
I SNS
they throw the previously heated washing liquid, at a pressure of about 12 bar, onto the muddy surface on the bottom of the tank. Due to the impact and the temperature, an initial fluidization of the sludge is obtained. Subsequently, by appropriately orienting the SNS, due to the effect of the pressure, a suitable force is transmitted to force the movement of the sludge, directing it to a certain position suitable for being picked up by the suction system.
the fluidized waste part is sucked by a centrifugal pump, which sends the fluid to a first filter designed to separate the solid parts, sand, ferrous residues. Subsequently, the liquid is treated in the "Recirculation Module" and after heating it is led to 3 Hidro cyclones in parallel, which complete the separation of the solid part
The oily liquid free from solids, coming from the upper part of the cyclones, is sent back to the SNS for a further operating cycle.
Part of the liquid, if considered in excess for further operating cycles, is sent to the crude oil storage tanks or directly to the pipe-line
- The part of oil containing solid parts, coming from the bottom of the cyclone, is heated and sent to a two-phase horizontal centrifuge called “Decanter”.
In the Decanter the solid part is separated from the liquid phase. The solid is transferred to landfill treatment and the liquid is recovered.
- Concluded the centrifugation treatment for exhaustion of the sludge, the tank is washed with diesel oil and subsequently with hot water, using the same sequence of the operating cycle, that is, through use of the SN
